Remember the old Western and Kung Fu movies? As soon as a gunfighter or kung fu master got to be #1 (not easy!) – was he allowed to rest on his laurels?

Achieving outstanding and consistent high Search Engine ranking is an interactive and ongoing marketing process. For optimum results, SEO is not a ‘set it and forget it’ item.
Each month there are 1000’s of new websites coming online. Many of these will be in your field, your business type and your city. To continue to rank #1 or on the first page of Searches, ongoing SEO work is a necessity.
Search Ranking Slippage
Without ongoing SEO work, your business will inevitably begin to slip in Search rankings.
Of course, the majority of SEO work will be in the beginning. Optimizing the website structure from the inside out, submitting to Search engines and ‘white hat’ and appropriate link building activities. Some of these activities could be considered SEM – Search Engine Marketing.

After a high Search Ranking is achieved, then there needs to be ongoing ‘maintenance SEO’. Why?
Remember those 1000’s of websites coming online each month? The internet is not a static medium. It is constantly changing and growing. And so are your competitors online. Your competitors and not standing still as a statue – and neither should you!
